What Are EBOO and MAH Infusions?

EBOO (Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation) is an advanced ozone therapy that utilizes a closed-circuit system to filter and treat blood outside the body. During the procedure, blood passes through a specialized filter where it is exposed to a cross-current mixture of oxygen and ozone before being returned to the patient. Because it operates as a sterile, closed system, EBOO can safely process a significantly larger volume of blood (approximately 2 liters per session) compared to standard ozone IV therapies.

Major Auto-Hemotherapy (MAH) and UBI (Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation) therapy involves the removal of a small amount of the patient’s blood which is injected into a solution of saline and medical grade ozone. This mixture is then infused slowly back to the patient through an ultraviolet light known as ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI). The ozonated blood will be a much brighter red color than the drawn blood because it has been super oxygenated.

How It Works

The primary goal of EBOO and MAH therapies are to oxygenate, ozonate, and support cellular function. By using a specialized filter to diffuse precise concentrations of medical grade ozone with patient’s own blood. In addition to the basic EBOO and MAH infusions there are different cocktail mixtures that can be added to the infusion based on the needs of each individual patient. Such as Myer’s cocktail for hydration, or a cell reboot cocktail to help with cell renewal and regeneration.

Benefits of EBOO and MAH

Detoxification

Physically filters and helps clear inflammatory molecules, assisting the body in breaking down metabolic waste, free radicals, and cellular toxins.

Cell Oxygenation

Increases the oxygen supply to tissues and red blood cells, which aims to improve mitochondrial energy (ATP) production, mental clarity, and physical stamina. As well as, increases red blood cell flexibility and stimulates DPG (diphosphoglycerate) to improve tissue and cellular oxygen uptake.

Immune System Support

Stimulates an underactive immune system or calms an overactive one, helping the body fight viral, bacterial, and fungal infections. Can help with the effects of chronic conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, or Lyme disease.

Antioxidant Activation

Triggers a mild oxidative challenge that activates the Nrf2 pathway, boosting the body's natural production of protective and antioxidant enzymes.

Who Can Benefit from EBOO and MAH?

Who may benefit from MAH:

  • Beginners to ozone therapy: Ideal for people wanting to test how their body reacts to ozone with a milder, well-tolerated entry point.
  • Mild-to-moderate chronic issues: Used for general immune support, fatigue, or mild inflammatory conditions.
  • Maintenance & wellness: Utilized by individuals looking for general energy support, detoxification, or routine immune maintenance.
  • Budget- or time-sensitive patients: MAH takes less time (about 30 to 45 minutes) and is generally less expensive than intensive multi-liter filtration methods.

Who may benefit from EBOO:

  • Complex or multi-system illnesses: Individuals dealing with persistent or heavy toxic loads, mold and mycotoxin illness, chronic Lyme disease, or long-haul symptoms.
  • Cardiovascular & metabolic concerns: People exploring circulatory or vascular support (such as peripheral artery disease or oxidative stress tied to diabetes).
  • Severe fatigue and brain fog: Patients experiencing deep, unresponsive exhaustion, chronic systemic inflammation, or autoimmune-type flare-ups.
  • Athletes and high performers: Individuals seeking intensive physical recovery, enhanced circulation, or targeted oxidative/stress management

The Process For Setting Up Infusions

Consultation

We set up a consultation with one of our providers, and go over your specific health needs to decide which infusion and how many sessions would best benefit your healthcare goals.

Infusion

On infusion day, we ask that you eat a healthy meal beforehand. You come in and do the normal intake before a procedure. Once intake is done the nurse sets up the infusion, adding an additional medications depending on the infusion package. The infusion itself can take anywhere from 30 minutes to one and a half hours.

Follow Up & Continuing Care

You will return for any additional sessions of infusion if more than one treatment was recommended. After completing all infusions, you’ll have a follow up with the providers to determine if any further sessions would be of benefit in the future.
