Thermography Screening

thermography Thermography screening is a totally safe, non-invasive clinical imaging procedure for detecting and monitoring a number of diseases and physical injuries, by showing the thermal abnormalities present in the body. It is used as an aid for diagnosis and prognosis, as well as monitoring therapy progress, for conditions and injuries. It can assess pain and pathology anywhere on the body, is very cost-effective, risk free, and the images are provided instantly.

Poor circulation can lead to many different ailments, not the least of which can include debilitating pain in the legs and feet. Thermography allows us to quickly analyze your microcirculatory system to find the best course of treatment. In many cases, Spinal Cord Stimulation creates richer blood flow to the extremities allowing for your body to heal naturally, and potentially reduce pain.

Patients who have undergone Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) have reported improved skin temperature in the extremities as well as improved healing time in ulcers or lesions related to vasculitis (1). The following image shows the legs of a patient who has undergone 30 days of treatment with SCS. Using thermal imaging, we can see that the blood flow, and temperature of the patients legs have greatly improved.
